James Bond has certainly been themed around a number of casinos and high stakes poker games, and of course the action, women and adventure. The James Bond movie series portrays violent action packed adventure, torturous scenes, most magnificent settings and scenes, and of course there has to be a casino in some of them. The most famous Bond series that is gambling themed is the famous Casino Royale of 1967 and 2006.

Casino Royale (1967)
This Bond series features cast which included David Niven, Orson Welles, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers and Ursula Andress. Things seem decidedly dreary for British Intelligence. The SMERSH have started to interrupt global strength and not more than eleven agents have vanished. “M” played by John Huston and the heads of the CIA and KGB have one option left to help them; the well-known secret agent Sir James Bond played by David Niven. After the death of “M”, an elderly Bond is drawn out of retirement to restore himself as the world’s greatest spy. Bond is given control of MI6, and finds himself inclined against SMERSH’s villain Le Chiffre staring Orson Welles. James Bond embarks his skillful plan to confuse the enemy by employing many agents – all of them named James Bond. He tutors Evelyn Tremble played by Peter Sellers, an useless author on casino card games, to enter Casino Royale and take part in a showdown against the master card player and enemy, Le Chiffre.
Casino Royale 2006
Casino Royale presents James Bond before he acquires his license to kill. But Bond is equally dangerous, and with two other expert assassinations in quick sequence, he is promoted to “00″ status. Bond’s first 007 assignment takes him to Madagascar, where he is to closely watch out on a terrorist, Le Chiffre. He quickly learns that Le Chiffre is preparing to raise money at a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro at Casino Royale. MI6 assigns 007 to wager against him, knowing full well that if Le Chiffre loses, it will damage his organization. ‘M’ staring Judi Dench, puts Bond under a watchful eye of the appealing Vesper Lynd played by Eva Green. At first doubtful of what importance Vesper can provide, Bond’s interest in her intensifies as they face danger together and torture at the hands of Le Chiffre. In Montenegro, Bond associates himself with Mathis played by Giancarlo Giannini, MI6′s area field officer, and Felix Leiter played by Jeffrey Wright, who is presenting the interests of the CIA. The marathon carries on with dirty tricks and violent behavior, raising the stakes beyond blood money and reaching a horrifying climax.
